The mission of San Marcos Elementary School’s Library Media Center is to train students to become effective users of ideas and information, and to foster in them a lifelong love of reading.

The SME Library is open to the entire school community; teachers, staff and students.

Students can use the computers in the library to take their AR Quizzes and to do research for classroom assignments.

Students in grades 1-2 can check out 1 book for 1 week.  Students in grades 3-5 can check out up to 2 books for 1 week.  Students are responsible for all lost and damaged books.  Thank you for your help keeping our books well read and well taken care of.
